Bring fantasy to real life.
As an avid consumer of media, I wanted to be able to portray the characters that I had become so familiar with. As such, I began to post my content online and created a persona for myself on social media over the course of the past 5 years.
I created “Chaikana” in 2019 hoping to show my creative side to the world. While I took a break to focus on my studies, between June 2023 and February 2024, I went from 4k to 15.5k followers.
By posting on a regular daily schedule from June through November, I was able to grow my following by ~11k followers. After coming off of a 3 year hiatus, from April 2023 - July 2023, I went from 4k to 10k followers.

To celebrate 10,000 followers, I designed and sold a set of photo cards with my cosplay photos online.
